Yirim: An expanded meeting of educational leaders in Yirim District, Ibb Governorate, chaired by the Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hassan Al-Sa'adi, discussed today the preparations for widespread participation in the central Mawlid al-Nabawi event in the district.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by the General Mobilization official of the governorate Abdul Fattah Ghallab, the head of the educational sector in the district Adel Qa'ashah, local authority and educational leaders, and social figures. It reviewed the preparations and activities implemented in the district's schools, and the tasks assigned to educational staff to ensure active participation in the central event.
The discussions addressed a number of proposals related to mechanisms for mobilization, organization, and participation by educators and students, emphasizing the importance of adhering to assigned tasks and integrating roles among various parties to ensure the success of the central event.
The Minister of Education and Scientific Research emphasized the importance of the educational staff playing their role in entrenching faith-based and national values, and enhancing the presence of religious occasions in educational and community awareness. He praised the efforts made by male and female teachers in carrying out their educational and pedagogical mission despite the conditions and challenges facing the nation.
He pointed out that commemorating the Mawlid al-Nabawi is a station for strengthening the connection to the biography of the Greatest Messenger, his morals, and his values, and for translating these values into behavior and responsibility in the educational field. He called on the educational sector to participate widely in a manner that reflects the significance of the occasion.
Minister Al-Sa'adi praised the efforts of the educational sector in the governorate in implementing activities and programs for the occasion, along with organizational work and school decorations. He affirmed the importance of educational events serving as a platform for delivering a meaningful message that reinforces values, morals, and emulation of the noble Prophet's biography (PBUH).
