Sana’a Capital: Shaub District Holds Celebrations Honoring Prophet

Sana'a: A series of cultural and awareness events and evening gatherings were held in Shaub District of Sana'a Capital as part of preparations to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.

According to Yemen News Agency, residents of several neighborhoods organized gatherings highlighting the significance of the occasion and the importance of following the Prophet's life, teachings, and noble character. Two major events were also held in Sawaan for residents of Al-Siyah and Al-Askari neighborhoods, attended by local officials, community leaders, and large numbers of residents.

Speakers at these events highlighted the Prophet's virtues, patience, and steadfastness in conveying the message of Islam, emphasizing that the occasion provides an opportunity to strengthen love and loyalty to the Prophet, and draw inspiration from his values and principles. The district has also witnessed extensive preparations, including evening gatherings, seminars, decorations, and lighting of streets, intersections, and homes ahead of the central celebration on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal at Al-Sabeen Square.

Six awareness seminars were held at mosques across the district, while seven morning activities were organized at public and private schools to promote awareness of the Prophet's life and reinforce Islamic values among students.
