Meeting Discusses Efforts to Address Community Issues in Al-Sawdah & Habur Dhulaymah Districts

Amran: A broad meeting chaired by Amran Governor Dr. Faisal Jamaan discussed efforts to address community issues in Al-Sawdah and Habur Dhulaymah districts, aimed at strengthening social peace and unifying efforts to confront current challenges.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by the governorate's mobilization official Hussein Al-Gharib, Shura Council member Saleh Al-Zaakari, Security Director Brigadier Mansour Al-Hamzi, and a number of sheikhs and social figures from the two districts. The attendees reviewed several community issues in Bani Ahkam area of Al-Sawdah and Bani Aidh area of Habur Dhulaymah.

Participants explored ways to resolve community disputes through understanding, tolerance, and reconciliation to preserve social cohesion. The meeting also reviewed preparations for a comprehensive reconciliation agreement between residents of the two districts to end ongoing disputes and address revenge-related cases in accordance with the law.

Governor Jamaan emphasized the important role of sheikhs and community leaders in strengthening social unity and promoting a culture of reconciliation and tolerance. He described them as key partners in maintaining security and resolving community issues.

He called for cooperation between social figures, local authorities, and security services to achieve reconciliation, enhance unity, and focus efforts on confronting challenges. The governor underscored the need for prioritizing public interest and strengthening national solidarity at the current stage.

The meeting approved a reconciliation document aimed at ending disputes and reaching satisfactory solutions for all parties. This initiative is expected to contribute to security and stability while addressing outstanding issues through responsibility and cooperation, preserving social cohesion in Al-Sawdah and Habur Dhulaymah districts.
