Sana'a: A meeting in the capital Sana'a discussed ways to enhance partnership between the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources and the National Supreme Authority for Combating Corruption in the areas of awareness and education to fight corruption.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included Ministry Adviser Eng. Samir al-Hanani and the Authority's awareness team. It focused on promoting the Authority's toll-free hotline (8000118) across the ministry and its affiliated bodies for reporting corruption cases and illicit enrichment.
Attendees emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation with all institutions to prevent and combat corruption. They discussed spreading awareness through the ministry's website and social media platforms and publicizing the hotline.
Al-Hanani affirmed the ministry's commitment to partnership with the Authority to address financial and administrative irregularities and prevent corruption. The Authority praised the ministry's role in supporting awareness and outreach efforts.
