Hodeida: A meeting of the administrative board of the Executive Unit for Projects and Maintenance in Hodeida province, chaired by Governor Abdullah Atefi, reviewed the progress of service and development projects and discussed future plans.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, attended by Undersecretary for Services Mohammed Halisi, examined a report presented by Executive Unit Director Zaid al-Murtada. The report outlined achievements during the previous period and the implementation status of projects funded by the local council in line with approved technical and engineering standards.
Discussions focused on enhancing the unit's role by improving implementation mechanisms to reduce costs and accelerate project completion. Participants also reviewed preparations for the annual plan for the year 1448 AH, ensuring alignment with the governorate's development priorities.
The meeting further addressed the unit's available resources, including equipment, machinery, and technical tools, and identified key needs to strengthen its capacity for efficiently executing future projects.
Abdullah Atefi praised the leadership and staff of the Executive Unit for their efforts, commending the level of performance and the pace of project delivery in meeting service needs and improving public services. He emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts in the coming phase, promoting teamwork, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring faster implementation at the lowest possible cost, while reaffirming the governorate leadership's commitment to providing the necessary support.
The meeting, attended by officials including Mohammed Mathna, Mohammed al-Washli, and Tamim al-Absi, also featured a visual presentation showcasing completed and ongoing projects, highlighting progress through before-and-after comparisons.
