Sana'a: A meeting held in the capital Sana'a on Sunday discussed the action plan of the committee tasked with preparing reference lists for industrial production inputs, along with a progress report covering the previous period.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was chaired by Mohammed bin Ishaq, Chairman of the General Investment Authority, who stressed the importance of preparing reference lists in line with international classification standards to facilitate the entry of production inputs.
Bin Ishaq emphasized the need for the committee to complete its assigned tasks, noting that the reference lists would contribute to simplifying import procedures, supporting local production, and enabling investors to benefit from incentives and facilities stipulated in the Investment Law.
He also expressed the Authority's readiness to address challenges facing the committee's work, pointing to the interest and support of the ministries of Economy, Industry and Investment, Finance, as well as the General Investment Authority, in facilitating the committee's tasks and ensuring the successful completion of its mandate.
