Taiz:An expanded meeting was held, gathering sheikhs, notables, and dignitaries of the Taiz Governorate. The meeting focused on rejecting the mobilizations of the Saudi enemy, supporting the "siege with siege and escalation with escalation" strategy, and blessing the victories of the Yemeni armed forces. Additionally, the meeting expressed support for the decision on general amnesty.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by several key figures, including Taiz Governor Ahmed Al-Masawi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Political Council Saleem Al-Mughalis, Shura Council member Talal Aqlan, and Political Bureau member of Ansar Allah Mahmoud Al-Junaid, along with numerous leaders and sheikhs.
Governor Al-Masawi emphasized Taiz's long-standing civilizational history and its confrontation with an enemy that only understands force and deterrence. He underscored that rights are regained through steadfastness and that the siege is countered with siege, and escalation with escalation. Al-Masawi also noted that the armed forces, in collaboration with the local population, are securing roads and disrupting enemy movements and reinforcements. He urged those misled to take advantage of the general amnesty to return to the national fold.
The sheikhs of Taiz reiterated their firm rejection of Saudi mobilizations and its mercenaries, endorsed the armed forces' field victories, and fully supported the "siege with siege and escalation with escalation" strategy. They welcomed President Al-Mashat's general amnesty decision as a responsible measure to prevent bloodshed and reunify ranks. Furthermore, they highlighted the need for unity, rejected divisive rumors, and commended the wise men and sheikhs' efforts in mitigating conflict and fostering security and stability.
