Sana'a: A meeting at the Ministry of Local Administration and Rural Development discussed on Tuesday ways to enhance the performance of the Housing Sector and the Housing Credit Bank in support of local and rural development initiatives.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister Nasser al-Mehdhar and focused on reviewing mechanisms for improving housing services, urban planning, and the overall efficiency of the housing sector to better meet citizens' needs.

Participants also examined ongoing housing-related projects within Yemen's national research and development framework, emphasizing the importance of coordinated planning and the preparation of phased programs to modernize sector operations.

The meeting called for intensified efforts to address existing challenges, strengthen cooperation among relevant institutions, and promote the exchange of ideas aimed at improving the performance of both the Housing Sector and the Housing Credit Bank.
