Scout Ceremony and Performance Mark Conclusion of Summer Courses in Marib

Marib: The Sub-Committee for Activities and Summer Courses in Marib Governorate organized a central closing ceremony for the summer courses and activities for the year 1447 AH, under the slogan 'Knowledge and Jihad.'

According to Yemen News Agency, the ceremony, held in Harib al-Qaramish District, saw Marib Governor Ali Twayman commend the efforts of the teaching staff and those in charge of the summer schools. He also praised the community awareness and engagement of parents, highlighting the beneficial use of the summer vacation for both students and society.

The governorate's Mobilization Official, Badr al-Majsh, attributed the success of the courses to both official and public interest in building a strong generation. He emphasized that the courses aim to equip young people with awareness and insight, fortified with values of identity and faith, to confront challenges and conspiracies threatening the social fabric and national values.

Nasser Dhiyab, the Education Sector Official in the district, noted that the courses provided students with useful knowledge, particularly the Holy Qur'an. Additionally, they helped develop students' skills and abilities in various scientific, creative, and sports fields.

The ceremony featured a scouting parade by students from scouting and model schools, alongside a choral operetta and various creative performances. These segments showcased the skills and knowledge acquired by the students during their learning journey, presenting an artistic and aesthetic display of today's students and future leaders.

The event concluded with the honoring of outstanding students with certificates and recognition of teachers, executive committees, and staff at the centers, acknowledging their roles in the success of the summer activities.
