Meeting Reviews Operations of Economy Ministry Offices in Sana’a and Other Governorates

Sana'a: A meeting chaired by Acting Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment Sam al-Bashiri on Wednesday reviewed the performance of the ministry's offices in the capital Sana'a and other governorates. The discussion focused on improving operational mechanisms, addressing challenges facing the offices, and proposing solutions.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Bashiri stressed the need for the offices to translate the ministry's approved policies into action in coordination with local authorities and relevant bodies. He highlighted the importance of facilitating economic activities, supporting the private sector, and easing procedures.

He instructed office directors to submit proposals for enhancing work mechanisms, strengthening field oversight, and eliminating negative practices. The meeting, attended by ministry undersecretaries Abdulfattah al-Dhawaid, Sami Maqbooli, Fuad al-Junaid, and acting undersecretary Mohammed Qutran, underscored the role of local offices in economic empowerment programs and in reporting and assisting stalled factories.
