Sana’a: A memorial event was held on Sunday at the Mosque of the Venerable Companion Mu’adh bin Jabal in the Al-Jund area of Taiz province to commemorate the martyrs of the nation and humanity, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashim Safi al-Din.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by members of the Shura Council, province deputies, the province’s mobilization official, local and executive leaders, the head of Al-Hadar Rabat in Al-Hoban, Sheikh Allamah Taher Al-Hadar, and the head of the Guidance Sector in the Taiziya district, Anas Saeed. During the event, condolences were renewed to the nation for what was described as the assassination by the Zionist enemy entity.

Al-Hadar and Saeed emphasized that martyr Hassan Nasrallah was recognized for his stances in supporting national causes, primarily the Palestinian cause. They highlighted the actions of the Zionist enemy, which reportedly used 85 tons of internationally banned bombs in an attempt to assassinate Nasrallah, viewing him as a significant threat over four decades.

The memorial included absentee prayers for the souls of Hassan Nasrallah and Hashim Safi al-Din. The prayers were attended by local, executive, security, and military leaders, alongside sheikhs, social figures, and numerous citizens from Taiz province.
