Sana'a: The National Meteorological Center and Early Warning Forecast have predicted cold to very cold weather in several governorates and highlands during the next 24 hours. According to the weather bulletin issued by the center, cold to very cold weather is expected during the night and early morning hours in the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, and the highlands of Al-Dhale'a, Lahj, Abyan, Ibb, western Al-Jawf, and southern Marib, with light frost potentially forming in some areas.
According to Yemen News Agency, it is also likely to be cold in the highlands of Hajja, Al-Mahwit, Raymah, Taiz, Shabwa, and Hadramaut. The center has warned citizens in the aforementioned mountainous areas or travelers to these regions of the cold and very cold weather, especially the elderly, children, patients, and workers during the night and early morning hours.
Farmers are advised to take necessary measures to protect their crops from damage.
