Meteorology Center Alerts Residents of Cold Weather Conditions Across Provinces

Sana'a: The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has issued a forecast predicting cold to very cold weather conditions in the mountainous highlands and several provinces over the next 24 hours.

According to Yemen News Agency, the center's weather bulletin indicates that nighttime and early morning temperatures will drop significantly in the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, and the highlands of Abyan, Lahj, Al-Dhale'a, Ibb, southern Marib, and western Al-Jawf. There is a possibility of frost forming in parts of these regions. Additionally, the weather in the highlands of Mahwit, Raymah, Taiz, Shabwa, and Hadramout is expected to be cold.

The center has advised residents and travelers in the affected provinces to be cautious of the cold and very cold conditions, particularly vulnerable groups such as the elderly, children, patients, and those working during the night or early morning hours.

Furthermore, the center has urged farmers to implement necessary measures to protect their crops. Livestock, bee, and poultry keepers are also advised to ensure that their animals are sheltered in warm environments to prevent any adverse effects from the cold weather.
