Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast scattered rainfall over mountainous and coastal areas, along with hot to extremely hot weather in desert and coastal regions during the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the center's weather bulletin indicates partly cloudy to cloudy conditions, with possible scattered thunderstorms over parts of Al Mahwit, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, Al Dhale', Taiz, and the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, and Shabwa. There is also a possibility of water mist or fog forming over some of these areas.
The bulletin further predicts generally clear to partly cloudy weather, with chances of scattered rainfall over parts of the Tihama Plain, the eastern and southern coasts, adjacent inland areas, and the Socotra Archipelago. Light to moderate winds are anticipated.
In desert regions, the weather is expected to remain clear and hot to extremely hot, with maximum temperatures ranging between 38°C and 43°C. Winds may become active at times, stirring up dust and sands.
The center has issued warnings to citizens about the hot and extremely hot conditions in deserts, inland plateaus, coastal regions, and plains, advising against being in or crossing flood channels during and after rainfall.
