Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted cold to very cold and relatively cold weather conditions in several governorates and highlands over the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin issued by the center predicts that nighttime and early morning temperatures will be cold to very cold in the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Al Bayda, and the highlands of Ibb, Al Dhale'a, Al Jawf, and Marib.
The bulletin also indicates that the weather will be cold to relatively cold in the highlands of Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Raymah, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwah, and the deserts and plateaus of Al Mahrah and Hadramout. The center has issued warnings to citizens about the cold and very cold weather, particularly advising the elderly, children, patients, and workers to exercise caution during the night and early morning hours.
The center further advised farmers to implement appropriate measures to safeguard their crops and produce. It also called on those traveling to colder areas to take necessary precautions to avoid cold shocks.
