Sana'a: The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning anticipates continued scattered thunderstorms of varying intensity across parts of several governorates over the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, thunderstorms of varying intensity are likely to affect parts of the governorates of Shabwah, Bayda, Lahj, Taiz, Dhale'a, Ibb, Dhamar, Raymah, Mahwit, and Hajjah, as well as parts of the Tihama Plain and the western coasts.
Scattered rain, sometimes accompanied by thunder, is expected in the western regions of Saada, Amran, and Sana'a, and in parts of the governorates of Abyan, Hadramaut, and Mahrah, as well as the southern and eastern coasts.
The center has issued warnings to citizens regarding the potential hazards associated with thunderstorms, advising against crossing or being in floodwaters during and after rainfall. The warning extends to the risk of soil erosion, rockslides, and reduced horizontal visibility on roads and mountain slopes due to low clouds or fog.
