Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast varying and scattered rainfall, along with hot to very hot weather, during the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin released by the center predicts varying rainfall, occasionally accompanied by thunderstorms, across parts of the governorates of Taiz, Ibb, Al-Dhalea, Dhamar, Al-Mahwit, western Sana'a, and southern Amran. Additionally, scattered rainfall may occur in parts of the governorates of Hajjah, western Saada, Raymah, Al-Bayda, the highlands of Lahj and Abyan, as well as parts of the coasts of Al-Mahrah, the Tihama Plain, and the Socotra Archipelago.
The center also highlighted that hot to very hot weather conditions are expected in the deserts, inland plateaus, plains, and coastal areas. It has issued warnings about the potential for flash floods in ravines and valleys, advising against being present in or crossing their paths during and after rainfall due to the risk of thunderstorms.
Furthermore, the center cautioned about the extreme heat in the mentioned areas, advising against direct exposure to sunlight during midday and recommending the consumption of plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.
