General

Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted rainfall over parts of several governorates, along with mist and fog over extensive areas of mountain slopes and internal plateaus in the next 24 hours.

According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin from the center predicts scattered rainfall, occasionally accompanied by thunder, in the governorates of Hajjah, Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Raymah, and Ibb. Additionally, light to moderate rain is expected in Al-Mahwit, Taiz, Al-Dhalea, Al-Hodeida, Al-Bayda, the highlands of Lahj and Abyan, and parts of the southern coasts.

Mist and fog are anticipated to cover wide areas of the slopes and escarpments of the mountainous highlands and the internal plateaus. The center has issued warnings to citizens in the mountainous highlands about potential thunderstorms and the risk of torrents in valleys and ravines. It advised against being in these areas or crossing them during and after rainfall.

The center also cautioned drivers about reduced horizontal visibility on roads and mountain slopes due to low clouds, rainfall, and fog formation.
