Meteorology Forecasts Scattered & Varying-Intensity Rainfall Across Governorates

Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted rainfall of varying intensity and scattered distribution over several governorates during the next 24 hours.

According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin issued by the center indicates that rainfall of varying intensity, at times accompanied by thunderstorms, is likely over the governorates of Taiz, Ibb, Al-Dhalea, Hajjah, Raymah, and Saada.

Scattered rainfall is expected over parts of the governorates of Dhamar, Sana'a, Amran, Al Mahwit, and the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, and Shabwah, as well as parts of the Tihama Plain.

The center has warned citizens in areas expected to receive rainfall of the possibility of flash floods flowing through ravines and valleys. It advised against being present in their courses or attempting to cross them.
