Sana'a: The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted cold to very cold weather conditions in the mountainous highlands over the next 24 hours. The affected areas include the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, and regions within the highlands of Al-Dhalea, Lahj, Abyan, Ibb, the west of Al-Jawf, and the south of Marib.
According to Yemen News Agency, the center has indicated that there is a possibility of frost formation in certain parts of these governorates and highlands. Furthermore, the weather is predicted to be cold in the highlands of Hadramawt, Shabwa, Taiz, Raymah, and Al-Mahwit. The center has issued warnings to citizens residing in these mountainous highlands, particularly urging the elderly, children, patients, and workers to be cautious during the night and early morning hours due to the cold conditions.
The meteorology center also advised farmers to take necessary precautions to protect their crops and harvests against potential damage from the cold. Additionally, it has cautioned newcomers to these cold areas to implement measures to prevent cold-related health issues.
