Meteorology Predicts Cold Weather and Scattered Rainfall Across Highlands

Sanaa:The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted clear and relatively cold weather conditions in the highlands, accompanied by scattered rainfall over parts of these regions and coastal areas within the next 24 hours.

According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin indicates that the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, and Al-Bayda will experience clear and relatively cold weather. There is also a possibility of mist or fog forming during the night and early morning in parts of Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, Al-Dhale, Lahj, and Abyan.

During the daytime, these areas might witness partly cloudy skies with scattered rain, occasionally accompanied by thunder, particularly in the governorates of Saada, Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, Al-Dhale, and the highlands of Lahj and Abyan, especially in the afternoon and evening.

In addition, the Tihama plain and the Socotra Archipelago are expected to experience partly cloudy weather with scattered rain. Moderate to active winds are anticipated over the Gulf of Aden, the southern western coast, and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.

In the desert regions, the weather is expected to remain generally clear, with moderate to occasionally active winds that may raise dust and sand. The center has issued warnings to citizens about potential floods in valleys and ravines, advising against their presence in these areas during and after rainfall. Additionally, caution is advised regarding thunderstorms and reduced visibility caused by fog and low clouds on mountain roads.
