Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted the continuation of heavy and varying rainfall over parts of several governorates during the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin issued by the center indicates that heavy thunderstorms, accompanied by hail, are likely to occur over parts of the governorates of Sa'ada, Amran, Hajjah, Sana'a, Al-Mahweet, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, and Taiz.
Rainfall of varying intensity, accompanied by thunder, is expected to impact parts of the governorates of Al-Bayda, Al-Dhalea, Al-Hodeida, and the highlands of Al-Jawf, Ma'rib, Abyan, and Lahj. The center has issued warnings to citizens regarding the potential for flash floods in ravines and valleys, advising against being in their paths or attempting to cross them during and after rainfall. The advisory also cautions against the risks posed by thunderstorms, urging people to avoid being near electrical poles, high places, and trees.
Additionally, the warning includes alerts about the possibility of rockfalls, mudslides, and reduced horizontal visibility on roads and mountain slopes due to rainfall and the formation of fog.
