Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted cold to very cold weather, with the potential for frost formation in parts of the mountainous highlands and provinces over the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin issued by the center predicts that cold to very cold weather conditions will prevail during the night and early morning across several regions. These include the provinces of Sana'a, Dhamar, Amran, Al-Bayda, and Saada, as well as the highlands of Ibb and Al-Dhalea, the south of Marib, and the west of Al-Jawf. There is a possibility of frost formation in some of these areas.
The weather is also expected to be cold in the highlands of Al-Mahwit, Raymah, Taiz, Lahj, and Abyan, along with the plateaus of Shabwa and Hadramout. The center has issued a warning to citizens residing in these mountainous highlands about the anticipated cold and very cold weather conditions, especially advising vulnerable groups such as the elderly, children, the sick, and workers to exercise caution during night and early morning hours.
Additionally, the center has advised farmers to implement measures to protect their crops from potential damage. Livestock, bee, and poultry keepers are also urged to ensure their animals are sheltered in warm environments to prevent exposure to the harsh weather conditions.
