Aden: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has issued a forecast predicting strong winds, rough seas, thunderstorms, and scattered rainfall over several governorates within the next 24 hours. According to Yemen News Agency, the center's weather bulletin highlighted that strong winds, with speeds ranging between 30 and 45 knots, are anticipated to impact the Socotra Archipelago and the eastern coasts. Thunderstorms are expected to affect parts of the governorates of Lahj, Al-Dhalea, Ibb, as well as the highlands of Abyan, Shabwah, and Hadramout. Additionally, scattered rainfall may occur over limited parts of the governorates of Sa'ada, Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Amran, Sana'a, Raymah, and Taiz. The center has advised sea-goers, fishermen, and ship captains in the Socotra Archipelago and along the eastern coasts to be cautious of rough seas and high waves. Citizens in areas likely to experience rainfall are warned of lightning strikes and are advised to avoid crossing flood channels during and after the rainfall.
