Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange 30 Index concluded Monday's session at 7,501.05 points, marking a decrease of 8.3 points, or 0.11 percent, from the previous session. This minor drop reflects a cautious market sentiment as investors weighed various economic factors. According to Yemen News Agency, the trading value witnessed a substantial decline of 27.4 percent, reaching OMR 20.01 million. Additionally, the market capitalization saw a decrease of 0.14 percent, settling around OMR 38.24 billion. The decline in these key indicators suggests a reduction in market activity and investor confidence. Non-Omani trading activities also showed a downward trend, with purchases amounting to OMR 2.498 million, representing 12.49 percent of the total, while sales amounted to OMR 3.287 million, or 16.43 percent. This resulted in a net non-Omani investment decline of OMR 788,000, or 3.94 percent, signaling a cautious stance among foreign investors.
