Sana’a: The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted very cold to cold weather conditions across various regions, including the mountainous highlands, inland plateaus, and deserts, over the next 24 hours. According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin indicates that areas such as Al-Bayda, Dhamar, Sana’a, Amran, Saada, northern Ibb, western Al-Jawf, and southern Marib will experience very cold conditions, with a possibility of frost forming in limited regions.
Cold to very cold weather is also predicted in the highlands of Al-Dhalea, Lahj, Abyan, and the plateaus of Shabwah and Hadramout. Meanwhile, the conditions in Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Raymah, and Taiz are expected to be cold to relatively cold.
The center has issued warnings for citizens in mountainous areas, deserts, and inland plateaus, particularly emphasizing caution for the elderly, children, the sick, and those working at night or during early morning hours due to the cold and very cold conditions. Farmers have also been advised to take necessary measures to safeguard their crops from the adverse weather.
