Al-mahwit: The Women’s Committee of Shibam Kawkaban District in Al-Mahwit Governorate organized a cultural event on Thursday to commemorate the annual anniversary of the Quran Martyr, Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi. The event was held under the slogan: ‘The Martyr Leader. A Symbol of a Just Cause and Founder of a Great Project.’
According to Yemen News Agency, the speeches at the event emphasized the importance of commemorating the anniversary to honor the Quranic project established by the Martyr Leader. The discussions highlighted his significant role in correcting the nation’s path, strengthening its faith-based identity, and raising awareness about the dangers of intellectual and cultural targeting.
Participants noted that the Martyr Leader embodied a Quranic model of truthfulness, steadfastness, and sacrifice. He dedicated his life to defending the just causes of the nation, including the Palestinian cause, affirming that his Quranic project continues to resonate in the hearts of the Yemeni people.
The speeches also highlighted the role of Yemeni women in promoting social awareness and educating generations on values of dignity and pride. They drew lessons of patience, insight, and responsibility from the life of the Martyr Leader.
The participants affirmed their commitment to following the path of the Martyr Leader and upholding his Quranic project in a way that strengthens resilience and preserves the faith-based identity.
