Sana'a: A meeting held in the capital Sana'a on Tuesday, chaired by Acting Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah, discussed the draft security and traffic plan for Eid al-Adha 1447 AH. According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by key officials including Capital Mayor Hamoud Ubad, Ministers of Interior Major General Abdulmajeed al-Murtada, Culture and Tourism Abdullah al-Washli, Acting Head of the Tax and Customs Authority Ibrahim Mahdi, and Traffic Director Major General Bakil al-Barashi. Discussions centered on enhancing readiness and performance to ensure security and tranquility in the Capital Sana'a and the governorates. The meeting also focused on improving traffic services to facilitate smooth land transportation, particularly in crowded areas such as parks and recreational zones. The meeting approved the draft plan and emphasized the importance of implementation by the concerned parties. Each was tasked with responsibilities in coordination with the local authority in the Secretariat and gove rnorates to achieve security and traffic objectives. The Acting Prime Minister commended the ongoing efforts of Capital Sana'a, security units, and traffic police during holidays and official vacations in previous and current years. He encouraged all involved to maintain discipline, a strong sense of responsibility, and vigilance in implementing the plan effectively and achieving success in the specified areas.
