Sanaa:Health and Environment Minister Dr. Ali Shaiban criticized the international community's silence, alleging it has enabled Saudi Arabia to continue killing civilians in Yemen.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Shaiban stated at a press conference in Sanaa that this silence, coupled with double standards and a lack of accountability, implicates the United Nations and its affiliated organizations in the ongoing violence. He accused the Saudi government of ignoring humanitarian principles in its military actions against Yemen.
Dr. Shaiban highlighted a recent incident where Saudi aircraft targeted a crowded market at the Mawiyah Junction, describing it as evidence of Saudi Arabia's disregard for civilian lives. He condemned the targeting of various civilian sites, including infrastructure, schools, and hospitals, as unprecedented in its brutality.
