Sana'a: Eng. Mohammed Al-Mahdi, Minister of Communications and Information Technology and member of the Advisory Committee for the Third International Conference on the Great Prophet, met with Abdulrahman Al-Afaad, Deputy Head of the Conference's Supervisory Committee, and Dr. Al-Qasim Abbas, President of the Conference. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Amiri, Deputy President of the Conference, Dr. Ali Mudhaffar, Head of the Public Relations Committee, and Abdullah Rabid, Deputy Head of the Preparatory Committee.
According to Yemen News Agency, the discussion focused on a detailed review of the preparatory work since the conference's announcement through the end of Muharram. The participants discussed the process for receiving research papers from scholars both locally and internationally, in line with the conference's seven previously announced themes.
Minister Al-Mahdi expressed appreciation for the efforts to prepare for the conference, which reflects Yemen's unique commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. He confirmed his full support to ensure the success of the event and directed ministry officials to oversee all technical and logistical arrangements for its sessions, scheduled from 21-23 Rabi' al-Awwal 1447 AH.
Al-Afaad praised the minister's involvement and the ministry's support, highlighting that all committees are working diligently to finalize preparations, assess submitted research, and maintain alignment with the conference's established framework.
