Sana'a: Minister of Culture and Tourism, Dr. Ali Al-Yafei, alongside Governor of Aden, Tariq Salam, visited the Sana'a Fine Arts Gallery to explore an exhibition showcasing visual art that reflects Yemen's civilizational heritage, faith-based identity, and central causes of the Arab and Islamic world, with a focus on the Palestinian cause.

According to Yemen News Agency, the exhibition featured a collection of paintings and artworks by Yemeni artists that conveyed emotional and artistic responses to national and regional issues, including the suffering in Gaza and atrocities committed by the Zionist enemy. The exhibition underscored Yemen's steadfast support for Palestine and its broader struggle against hegemonic powers.

Minister Al-Yafei highlighted the role of visual arts in addressing national concerns, particularly the Palestinian issue. He reiterated the Ministry's dedication to supporting visual arts through various initiatives, including exhibitions, workshops, and training programs for students interested in artistic expression.

He mentioned that the themes in these artworks reinforce Yemen's official and popular backing of the Palestinian cause and bolster its cultural resistance against global dominance, particularly from the U.S. and Israel. Al-Yafei emphasized that arts, theater, poetry, and visual expression are vital fronts of cultural resistance and defense of national and pan-Arab causes.

Governor Tariq Salam also emphasized the importance of visual art in documenting and expressing the realities in Yemen and Palestine, particularly the aggression in Gaza.
