Sana'a: Minister of Defense, Major General Mohammed Al-Atifi, and Chief of the General Staff, Major General Yousef Al-Madani, have conveyed their condolences to His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, following the death of his mother.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Minister of Defense and the Chief of Staff expressed their heartfelt sympathies to President Al-Mashat and his family. They prayed for Allah Almighty's mercy and forgiveness for the deceased, hoping she would be admitted to Paradise. They also wished for patience and solace for the bereaved family.
In their message, they quoted, "Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return."
