Dhamar: The Wasab Al-Aali Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Society, in coordination with the local authority of Wasab Al-Aali District in Dhamar Governorate, commenced the distribution of 4,242 bags of cement on Monday. This initiative, supported by the Central Interventions Unit, aims to foster community and development projects.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the distribution event, district director Mujahid Al-Mosannaf acknowledged the Interventions Unit's role in providing cement and diesel, which encourages the community to engage in service and development projects. He reiterated the local authority's commitment to facilitating project implementation and boosting the cooperative society's efforts towards sustainable development.
The society's chairman, Engineer Abdulmalik Al-Nahiya, highlighted the significance of this support in executing projects that address local community needs, enhance infrastructure, and promote cooperative efforts.
Engineer Nasser Al-Dahla, representing the Central Interventions Unit, confirmed the ongoing support for community initiatives based on their necessity and importance, furthering local development goals.
Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude towards the local authority, the cooperative society, and the Interventions Unit for their support and encouragement in promoting community initiatives.
A joint meeting involving the local authority, the cooperative society, and the Interventions Unit discussed current and future projects, stressing the need for coordinated efforts to ensure planned implementation. This was succeeded by a field visit to evaluate the progress of various projects and gauge their level of completion.
