Al-hodeidah: The Women's Authority in Al-Hodeidah Governorate organized a cultural event and protest in Ad-Du?i District on Monday, marking the birth anniversary of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra, peace be upon her, the foremost woman of the world. The event also reaffirmed a steadfast position in support of the Palestinian cause.
According to Yemen News Agency, speakers at the event emphasized that commemorating the birth of Sayyidah Fatimah al-Zahra reflects the Yemeni woman's deep connection to her spiritual and principled path. They highlighted that al-Zahra, peace be upon her, embodied patience, steadfastness in upholding truth, and resistance against injustice and tyranny, and that Yemeni women continue to follow this path through their support for the causes of the Muslim nation, foremost among them Palestine.
The speeches also addressed the violations committed against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank by the Israeli forces, with American backing, including killings, targeting of women and children, starvation, and forced displacement, exposing the falseness of the slogans of human rights and freedoms.
A statement issued during the protest affirmed the participants' commitment to following the path of Sayyidah Fatimah al-Zahra, peace be upon her, in supporting justice and defending the oppressed. It rejected all attempts to undermine the identity of Yemeni women or strip them of their moral and faith-based values, and called for increased awareness and vigilance regarding hostile media and cultural warfare.
The statement renewed the participants' full support for the Revolution Leader, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and their readiness to offer all they can until the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque. It also reaffirmed a firm stance in supporting the Palestinian people and backing the fighters of Hezbollah in confronting the Israeli entity.
The statement stressed the continuation of the economic boycott of American and Israeli products and all companies supporting them. It urged the activation of this tool across Arab and Islamic countries, encouraged Yemeni youth and men to join mobilization courses and enhance preparedness for any potential aggression.
It also condemned the silence and failure of many Arab and Islamic regimes regarding the crimes committed against the Palestinian people. The statement called on women around the world to participate in marches and protests to express their outrage and stand in solidarity with the blood of the women and children of Palestine.
