Minister of Transport and Public Works Evaluates Potential Industrial Zones in Sanaa

Sanaa: The Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim, alongside Mohammed Ishaq, the Head of the General Investment Authority, conducted an inspection of several proposed sites for the establishment of industrial zones within the Hamdan district of Sanaa province.

According to Yemen News Agency, during their visit, Qahim and Ishaq received briefings from Engineer Mohammed Ashia, Director of the Public Works Office in the province, and Engineer Abed Shaye'a, Director of the Public Works Office in Hamdan district. They provided insights on the investment advantages that position Hamdan as an exemplary candidate for hosting such developmental projects.

The officials also engaged with site managers to discuss the specifics of the proposed projects, including expansion plans aimed at enhancing the investment landscape and promoting local industries. These efforts are expected to support the national economy and create new employment opportunities.

Minister Qahim emphasized the government's commitment to facilitating investment by removing barriers facing industrial and development initiatives. He highlighted the ministry's dedication to simplifying procedures and fostering partnerships with the private sector in alignment with directives from the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council.

Mohammed Ishaq, Head of the Investment Authority, reiterated the focus on cultivating an attractive investment climate. He outlined the provision of incentives and facilities designed to boost industrial activity and encourage national capital investment in productive projects, thereby advancing sustainable development.
