Sana'a: Minister of Transport Mohammed Quhaim announced on Wednesday that efforts are rapidly underway to restore Sana'a International Airport and Hodeida Port after they were directly targeted by Israeli aggression. Quhaim emphasized the urgency of these efforts to ensure the facilities are brought back to operational status for humanitarian and commercial services.
According to Yemen News Agency, Quhaim shared that technical teams are currently engaged in rehabilitation work on the damaged facilities. These teams are leveraging the expertise of airport and port personnel to expedite the restoration process. Quhaim expressed confidence that the facilities will resume their functions soon.
The minister highlighted that attempts to disrupt air and sea transport have not succeeded due to the resilience and dedication of national cadres. He criticized the Israeli aggression, stating it has failed to meet its objectives and underscored the targeting of civilian facilities as indicative of the enemy's criminal nature and bankruptcy. Despite these challenges, Quhaim reaffirmed Yemen's commitment to continued development in transportation and navigation.
