Hodeida: Omar Bahr, head of the education sector and member of the subcommittee for summer courses and activities in Hodeida province, on Wednesday inspected the progress of summer course activities at two model centers in the al-Hawak district.
According to Yemen News Agency, the visit, which included the sector's director of internal audit, Abdulkhaliq al-Shami, the district's education official, Mustafa al-Magharem, and various educational cadres from the district, aimed to review the level of attendance at the daily program at the "Martyr Leader" and "Martyr al-Samad" model centers.
Bahr commended the administrations and teachers for their efforts at the two centers, expressing his satisfaction with the student engagement he observed. He highlighted the significance of the summer courses in developing students' abilities, notably in reading, writing, reciting, and memorizing the Holy Quran, as well as enhancing their cognitive growth.
He encouraged students to take full advantage of this educational opportunity to gain valuable knowledge. Bahr also emphasized the necessity of intensifying efforts to promote Quranic culture and instill faith in the young generation.
