Sana'a: The Subcommittee for Activities and Summer Courses in Sana'a Governorate, along with the Youth and Sports Office and the Executive Committee in Sana'a New District, organized a parade for scout school students as part of the 1447 AH summer courses. These events were held under the theme 'Knowledge and Jihad.'
According to Yemen News Agency, participating students displayed slogans advocating for knowledge and jihad, demonstrating their commitment to education and development. They also voiced disapproval of the nation's adversaries and expressed solidarity with national causes, reinforcing their allegiance to religious principles and the teachings of the Qur'an.
During the parade, Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani, Secretary-General of the Local Council in the governorate, commended the skills shown by the students. He emphasized the summer courses as a platform for education and development that equips youth with valuable knowledge and protects them from external influences. He noted the success of these courses relies on cooperation, discipline, and resource availability.
Governorate Undersecretary Engineer Saleh Al-Muntasir and Taleb Dahan, head of the Subcommittee for Summer Activities, attended the event. Dahan highlighted the parade as an outcome of courses designed to empower youth with knowledge and awareness against soft warfare threats.
Abdul Mohsen Al-Sharif, Director of the Youth and Sports Office, stressed the importance of combining cultural and sports elements to enhance students' talents and identity. He noted the parade as evidence of students' active participation and benefit from the summer scout schools' programs.
