Raymah: Summer sports activities for students under the 1447 AH summer program, organized by the Youth and Sports Office in Raymah governorate, concluded Sunday in Bilad al-Ta'am and al-Jabin districts, featuring football, swimming, and marathon competitions.
According to Yemen News Agency, the two-week Bilad al-Ta'am district league witnessed participation from 24 teams representing summer schools. The Martyr Ahmed Majmish Summer School team emerged as champions after a narrow victory, defeating the Martyr Abu Mutlaq School team 2-1 in the final match.
In the al-Jabin district league, 20 teams competed fiercely. The al-Harik School team secured the first place, while the Imam Ali Summer School team finished as the runner-up.
The closing ceremony was marked by the presentation of awards. Mohammed al-Nahti, Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate, presented the league cup and gold medals to the winning team, while silver medals were awarded to the runners-up.
