Ministries Announce Concessions for Container Ships and Cargo at Red Sea Ports

General

Sana'a: The Ministries of Finance; Economy, Industry, and Investment; and Transport and Public Works have announced the upcoming implementation of concessions for container ships and cargo at Red Sea ports, including the port of Mokha, in accordance with directives from President Mahdi Al-Mashat and Acting Prime Minister Allama Mohammed Muftah.

According to Yemen News Agency, the three ministries explained that the concessions include reductions of up to 50 percent in fees for ships and containers, as well as in taxes, customs duties, and other charges. These measures aim to encourage shipping agents to import goods via these seaports, thereby avoiding the exorbitant and illegal fees imposed by the Saudi enemy and its mercenaries in occupied areas.

The ministries called upon merchants, businesspeople, and shipping companies to take advantage of these concessions.
