Sanaa: Acting Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment Sam Al-Bashiri has issued directives to the ministry's Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Sector, the Standards Authority, and the economy offices in Taiz and Hodeidah provinces to ensure the availability of food and basic commodities for the liberated districts along the western coast. Al-Bashiri's actions are part of efforts to stabilize the supply chain in these areas.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Bashiri stated that the initiative is in response to directives from the revolutionary leadership, the President of the Supreme Political Council, and the Acting Prime Minister. He emphasized the importance of maintaining adequate stocks of essential goods, addressing any supply or pricing issues promptly, protecting the rights of traders and consumers, and preventing monopolistic practices from taking hold in the market.
Additionally, Al-Bashiri mentioned that the ministry is initiating plans to activate its offices in the western coastal districts. This includes launching economic and development programs aimed at improving living conditions and services for the residents of these areas.
