Sana’a: The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources has initiated a national emergency campaign to address the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease affecting livestock across five governorates.
According to Yemen News Agency, the campaign will be conducted over the course of a week by specialized veterinary teams. These teams, experts in animal health and veterinary quarantine, will focus their efforts on treating livestock in the governorates of Al-Mahwit, Al-Hodeidah, Hajjah, Dhamar, and Al-Bayda. The initiative aims to control the spread of the disease and mitigate its impact on the agricultural sector.
