Sanaa: The Ministry of Culture and Tourism mourned the passing of the Head of the Culture Sector in Al-Jawf Governorate, Abdulhakim Ali Sailan, who passed away at the age of 62, having dedicated most of his life to cultural and media work in the governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, in its condolence statement, the Ministry praised the roles of the deceased, Sailan, in serving cultural work in the governorate through his work in a number of positions and tasks within the local authority, most recently as Head of the Culture Sector until his passing. He contributed to developing the sector's work and enhancing its presence in the cultural scene at the governorate level.
The statement noted the contributions of the deceased in the cultural, media, journalistic, and literary fields, and the qualities he possessed that earned him the respect of his colleagues and community.
