Sana'a: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stated on Tuesday that the Republic of Yemen has followed with sorrow the bloody events in the Somali city of Baidoa, which claimed the lives of dozens of Somali citizens, and condemns the criminal acts that accompanied these events.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that such events only serve those who seek to harm Somalia, foremost among them the Zionists. It stressed that wise individuals must deny the enemies this opportunity and address political differences, emphasizing that the paramount interest remains the unity of Somalia, the integrity of its territory, and the protection of its people's lives.

The Ministry advised the groups that bear arms to target the Muslim Somali people to direct those weapons against Zionist infiltration in the Republic of Somalia. It concluded its statement by affirming the Republic of Yemen's support for the Republic of Somalia in confronting projects of division and fragmentation, and the Israeli threat.
