Sana'a: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has declared that the current cost of peace is significantly less than what it could be in the future. This statement comes amidst ongoing tensions between the Yemeni government and the Saudi regime.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry criticized the Saudi regime's foreign policy, describing it as driven by arrogance, greed, malice, and subservience. The statement highlighted the nobility, dignity, and generosity of the Yemeni people, urging respectful treatment from others, contrasting with the Saudi regime's approach.
The Ministry pointed out that the Saudi regime has historically played a key role in creating crises and causing suffering in Yemen, leading to what it describes as a comprehensive and unprecedented aggression. It asserted that Saudi interventions in Yemen are now over and irreversible, warning that a failure to accept this reality could weaken the Saudi regime's rule.
Further, the statement criticized the Saudi regime for its lack of credibility and fairness during the de-escalation phase, linking this to the current blockade, targeting of ships and oil facilities, and the gradual collapse of its power structure. The Ministry concluded by stressing that delaying peace efforts would only increase future costs for the aggressors.
