Sana'a: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates launched an intensive political and diplomatic training program aimed at enhancing the skills of 90 male and female trainees from the political sector and developing their institutional performance. This six-month program is designed to refine political awareness and cultivate a spirit of dedication and responsibility in public service.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants began by listening to directives from the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, emphasizing training and development as a religious obligation and a duty urged by Islam. The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political and Consular Affairs, Ambassador Abdullah Sabri, highlighted that the program aligns with the revolutionary and political leadership's directives to train and develop human resources in state institutions.
He noted that this training initiative is part of a broader program targeting all ministry staff across its sectors, aiming to ensure efficient job performance and improve the performance of government agencies. The program, prepared and supervised by the Diplomatic Institute, underscores the importance of high-quality training, ensuring that trainees acquire the necessary knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
The Ministry is committed to combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience through applied lectures and interactive discussions led by experienced individuals, including ambassadors and specialized academics. Ambassador Sabri also mentioned a concurrent cultural course on "Public Responsibility and Managing the Nation's Affairs," organized in coordination with the National Center for Capacity Building and Decision Support.
Ambassador Sabri reiterated the need for a comprehensive evaluation of the program and the trainees to address any future shortcomings. Evaluations will be based on criteria such as punctuality, adherence to program guidelines, respectful conduct, completion of assignments, and exam performance.
Ambassador Dr. Ahmed Al-Emad, Dean of the Diplomatic Institute, explained the Ministry's focus on empowering young professionals with the necessary skills through a high-quality program delivered by national experts. Mutaib Al-Hamzi, Director General of Human Resources, urged participants to engage actively and adhere to the program's rules, positively impacting their career paths.
