According to Yemen News Agency, the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Policies and Content, Dr. Ahmed Al-Shami, emphasized the spiritual significance of the celebration, highlighting it as a means to instill the Prophet's noble biography among the nation's people. Dr. Al-Shami voiced concerns over the increasing global insults towards the Prophet, which he attributed to a calculated effort by global Zionism to undermine the Muslim community's faith-based identity.
Dr. Al-Shami lamented the tepid response of the Muslim community to these attacks, noting that such indifference signifies a loss of dignity and values. He called for a deeper connection with the Prophet, beyond superficial acknowledgments, to truly honor his legacy and teachings. The Deputy Minister of Information echoed these sentiments, stressing the media's role in educating the public about the Prophet's greatness and advocating for alliances that support causes like the defense of Gaza and the Palestinian people.
The event also highlighted the steadfastness of the Yemeni people, as articulated by the Deputy Minister for External Relations and Media, Mohammed Mansour. He noted Yemen's unique position in celebrating the Prophet's birth and its unwavering stance against foreign interference, crediting the leadership of Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and the political leadership for maintaining Yemen's independence and dignity.
Mansour also praised the Yemeni people's resilience in the face of external adversities, emphasizing their support for regional causes and their ability to achieve significant victories through reliance on the Quran, faith in Allah, and devotion to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
