Sanaa: Mohammed Abdulsalam, Head of the National Negotiating Delegation, held on Tuesday the Saudi regime responsible for the consequences of its continued violation of Yemen's sovereignty and its targeting of civilians and their property. In a post on "X" platform, Abdulsalam stated that the Saudi regime continues to launch aggressive raids on Yemen-exceeding 350 strikes in just a few days-which have hit public and private property and resulted in civilian casualties, including deaths and injuries.
According to Yemen News Agency, Abdulsalam noted that this aggressive military escalation against Yemen would achieve no objective for the Saudi regime; instead, it would only further complicate the situation. He pointed out that the regime had previously attempted the military option only to meet with failure; returning to a failed strategy reveals an aggressive mindset that believes in neither dialogue nor peace.
Regarding the outcome of the recent operation on the West Coast, the Head of the National Negotiating Delegation confirmed that the situation has been normalized and state institutions are present to perform their duties in serving the public. He stated, "We have witnessed no acts of retribution, a fact that reflects the moral and humanitarian commitment of the Yemeni Army. In contrast, Saudi Arabia persists in its policy of blackmailing and intimidating the world by citing alleged threats to international navigation in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait."
Abdulsalam further accused Saudi Arabia of inciting others using baseless, false information in an attempt to drag international parties into its futile adventures in Yemen-repeating a course of action that has already resulted in evident failure. He concluded his tweet by stating, "It is reprehensible for the Saudi regime to stoop to adopting a campaign of fabrications; we do not believe it is in the interest of international parties to jeopardize their own interests based on the lies of the Saudi regime-lies it has been addicted to for twelve years and continues to peddle, even though no one believes it anymore."
