Sanaa: Acting Prime Minister Mohammad Muftah sent a congratulatory cable to the Revolution Leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi and President Mahdi al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
According to Yemen News Agency, in the cable, the Acting Prime Minister expressed his highest congratulations and blessings to the Revolution Leader, President Al-Mashat, his deputy Sadiq Amin Abu Ras, members of the Political Council, the heads of the House of Representatives, the Shura Council, the Supreme Judiciary Council, members of the three councils, the Yemeni people, as well as the Arab and Islamic nations, on the advent of the holy month.
He prayed to Almighty God to usher in the month upon their homeland, the Arab and Islamic countries-especially those oppressed and persecuted in Palestine-with victory, goodness, prosperity, and blessings.
Allama Muftah also extended his congratulations to members of the military and security institutions, those stationed on the fronts of honor and dignity on the occasion of the holy month, praising the national, religious roles of the fighters, and their sacrifices over the years in defending their homeland and their nation's right to freedom, dignity, and independence.
He pointed out that the government, all public service units, and local authorities are committed to implementing the Ramadan program, working through various means to achieve its spiritual and humanitarian goals, strengthening the spirit of brotherhood, compassion, and solidarity within society, promoting values of goodness, righteousness, and charity toward the poor and needy, as well as caring for the families of martyrs and the wounded.
The Acting Prime Minister noted in the cable that the government is moving forward with implementing development and institutional modernization programs to achieve the desired goals in improving governance, rationalizing spending, providing better services to citizens, facilitating their transactions, working toward food self-sufficiency, and developing the manufacturing sector based on local inputs.
He asked the Almighty to return this occasion to the Yemeni people and the Arab and Islamic nations with complete and comprehensive victory over those who threaten their security, stability, present, and future.
