Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange 30 Index closed on Sunday at 5,029.89 points, marking a decrease of 32.9 points or 0.65 percent compared to the previous trading session's close of 5,062.79 points. Trading activities showed a significant reduction in value, with transactions amounting to OMR 11,710,774, which is a 21 percent drop from the last session's figure of OMR 14,823,747. According to Yemen News Agency, the daily report from the Muscat Stock Exchange highlighted a decrease in market capitalization by 0.429 percent from the last trading day, bringing it to approximately OMR 29.82 billion. The report also detailed the involvement of non-Omani investors, with purchases valued at 408 thousand Omani riyals, representing 3.48 percent of the total. Conversely, non-Omani sales amounted to 647 thousand Omani riyals, accounting for 5.52 percent. This resulted in a net decrease in non-Omani investment by 238 thousand Omani riyals, which is 2.04 percent of the total.
